Convert your table locally

Paste a GFM table or upload UTF-8 Markdown for a live grid preview. Literal pipes must be escaped, including within inline code. Inline-code delimiters are removed; emphasis and links remain text, and br tags become newlines outside code. Repair pads shorter rows and retains extra columns with generated headers; disabling repair rejects uneven rows. Export real XLSX with chosen worksheet name, widths and column types.

Load an original CC0 sample or choose a file, inspect the grid and set options, then convert. Changing options clears the previous output so downloads match the last completed conversion. Cancel terminates local worker processing.

Headers, types and limits

Default header is row 1. Blank headers become Column N; duplicate headers receive _2, _3 suffixes. Empty-string cells use the chosen empty-value policy; arrays have data rows without the header. Text stays text unless explicitly converted. Numeric conversion rejects more than 15 significant digits; precision already lost in an Excel numeric cell cannot be recovered. Nested keys reject ambiguous paths and prototype-related names.

UTF-8 text only, with optional BOM; other encodings must be re-saved as UTF-8. File limit 8 MiB each, batch 32 MiB, pasted text 2 MiB, 20 sheets, 10,000 rows, 256 columns and 100,000 cells across input files. XLSX expanded contents 32 MiB. The grid shows at most 20 rows by 8 columns and text preview 65,536 characters; downloads use all selected data.

Data-only conversion: XLSX formula cached values only, no formula execution or retention. Styles, charts, images, links, macros and merged layouts are not retained; dates have no timezone conversion. User text is never rendered as active HTML. Original files are never overwritten.
