AnyPS5 Windows/Linux Setup

Choose a matching AnyPS5 release kit or pinned relinker/full-source workflow. Prepare Windows/Linux commands, self-reported CPU/Vulkan checks, runtime layout and a local checklist export without pretending to run a game.

Three distinct preparation paths

Choose Windows or Linux; matching v0.1.2 release tools/libraries, current-source relinker-only, or current-source full build. Self-report AMD/Intel x86-64, ARM64 or unknown CPU, required title-code extensions and Vulkan baseline. The page generates source-linked commands, a runtime layout and a checklist with Markdown/JSON copy/download and explicit local save/restore. It scans no host and executes no command.

These are actual conversion executables and matching target-OS library archives, not ready-to-play game installers. Both release relinker headers were independently checked as x86-64; Windows libraries contain the three required MinGW runtime DLLs.

Current source builds

Windows uses the documented WinLibs MinGW-w64 GCC 15.2.0 x86_64-ucrt-posix-seh release 15.2.0posix-14.0.0-ucrt-r7, with mingw64/bin in the terminal PATH. Linux full builds require x86-64, Git, CMake 3.22.1+, Ninja and C++20 plus the distribution's display/audio development files. The page labels apt examples as Debian/Ubuntu.

Relinker-only needs no SDL/Vulkan/FFmpeg/FreeType/shader dependencies or submodules; Python 3.9+ must be discovered during configure for Python tests. Check ctest -N for input_magic. Full builds initialize submodules, use a separate build directory and explicitly build --target libs. Configure downloads FFmpeg unless its prebuilt directory is supplied. Current-source relinker-only output does not get mislabeled with v0.1.2 libraries.

Conversion and runtime prerequisites

  • Host CPU is unknown. Identify the intended native host before treating the runtime checklist as complete.
  • Current usage lists AVX2, FMA, F16C, BMI1, BMI2, LZCNT and MOVBE among the required unchecked title-code extensions. --to-intel is not a substitute for every required CPU feature.
  • Confirm a working Vulkan 1.1 device with graphics/compute queues and swapchain presentation before runtime. GPU selection does not affect compiling the relinker-only tool.

Windows conversion requires --windows; a .exe extension alone does not select PE. Intel uses --to-intel, which does not rewrite runtime-generated AMD instructions. Conversion examples require a selected x86-64 target. Launch examples appear only after the reported CPU/extensions/Vulkan and preparation checks are complete. This remains self-reported, without compatibility/FPS or successful execution claims.

  app0/

sce_sys/param.json (when required by the title)

Keep target-OS system libraries/dependencies in libs and the original application resources/metadata in app0. Use the title's original resources and the converted bundled-module paths reported by the relinker.

Sources and storage

Changing OS/CPU/workflow clears contextual confirmations; OS changes reset the GPU declaration. Save/restore is explicit browser-local storage; blocked storage leaves current choices and downloadable plans available. No account or upload is needed.

No games, firmware, keys or game download/decryption service are supplied. The official browser converter is a separate live entry; this guide does not claim its deployed revision was observed.
