  • Ember gorge departure

A quiet rocky river gorge at dusk; an empty wooden bridge is distant from the near-bank path. Restrained orange-and-blue cinematic realism.

    1. The old crossing: Wide establishing shot from the near bank. The adult stands still, looking toward the distant bridge with a small ember glow at its far end.
    2. A quiet decision: Medium side profile; stable eye level. The adult lightly holds the scarf as orange light from the empty bridge reflects on the face.
    3. Leave the past behind: Rear three-quarter tracking composition. The adult walks away along the near-bank path, bridge glow receding behind.
  • Paper-and-clay new beginning

A handmade paper park with a blue paper stream and a folded-paper bridge at sunset. Stop-motion concept frames, paper fibers and clay fingerprints.

    1. A letter left behind: Wide miniature establishing frame. The adult looks at a blank envelope near the empty paper bridge; orange tissue shapes mark its far end.
    2. Choose the next step: Medium frame with the bridge softly behind. The adult folds both hands calmly, deciding to move on while paper flame shapes spread across the empty bridge.
    3. Follow the lantern: Wide rear three-quarter view. The adult follows the near-bank path toward a small paper lantern, leaving the envelope behind.
  • Neon reflection farewell

A fictional empty canal promenade at blue hour, a closed footbridge reflected in the water. Geometric night photography with magenta and cyan reflections.

    1. A reflected crossing: Low wide shot from the level promenade. The adult pauses beside the canal, with a closed bridge reflected beyond.
    2. The reflection changes: Close-up of the water, then a face in profile. The adult turns from an orange flame-shaped LED reflection toward the lit path.
    3. Another route: Locked wide frame, subjects leaving foreground. The adult walks along the promenade while the reflected bridge fades into blue.
  • Winter ember thaw

A snowy village lane beside a frozen stream and an unused small timber bridge at dawn. Quiet blue-gray winter realism with small warm accents.

    1. A frozen route: Wide shot with soft foreground snow. The adult watches the unused bridge from the village lane.
    2. Warmth returns: Medium hands-to-face composition. The adult warms gloved hands as a symbolic ember drifts above the distant bridge.
    3. Take the open lane: Slow lateral tracking composition. The adult takes the cleared lane toward sunrise as the bridge dissolves into mist.
  • Lantern horizon

A level grassy riverside meadow at twilight, a distant unoccupied rope bridge and open sky. Gentle warm lantern light against violet twilight.

    1. At the river: Wide landscape within the selected crop. The adult stands on the meadow path holding a small lantern.
    2. Let the crossing go: Medium eye-level frame. The adult turns toward the open path while the distant bridge becomes symbolic ember particles.
    3. Carry a new light: Rear view with a gentle camera rise. The adult carries the lantern farther along the meadow path.
  • Ink-wash farewell

An original ink-wash landscape with a river, a small empty arched bridge and a winding bank path. Hand-painted monochrome ink wash with one vermilion accent.

    1. The last crossing: Wide painted composition. The adult traveler appears as a clear silhouette on the near-bank path.
    2. A stroke of closure: Medium painted frame. The traveler turns as a vermilion brush stroke dissolves the distant empty bridge.
    3. A path continues: Slow painted pullback. The traveler follows the winding path into unpainted white space.

Two actually rendered static storyboard tests

Original three-panel contact sheets generated with OpenAI's built-in image generation tool and visually reviewed 18 October 2026. These are still images testing shot concepts and recognizable cast/outfit continuity; movement, audio, duration and temporal video consistency were not tested. The other four templates have not been rendered.

One fictional adult at a distant burning bridge, shown in three cinematic panels
Ember gorge departure: the first panel already has more fire than the requested small glow. Static contact sheet, not a video.
Exact tested contact-sheet prompt

Create an original cinematic storyboard contact sheet, not a video. Exactly three equal portrait panels in one horizontal row, separated by thin white gutters, read left to right. No captions, numbers, logos or watermark. All panels feature the same fictional adult woman, age about 30, short black bob haircut, olive-green raincoat, cream scarf and dark trousers, in the same quiet rocky river gorge at dusk. Exactly one person in every panel. Panel 1: wide establishing view from the safe near bank; she stands still in the foreground, a wooden footbridge spans the distant river, small ember-orange lights visible along the far end of the bridge. Panel 2: medium side profile of the same woman on the same safe near bank, her hand lightly holding the scarf, face lit by a distant orange glow; in the soft background, the empty bridge is burning as a symbolic visual effect with no people on it. Panel 3: rear three-quarter view of her walking away along a level path on the near bank, bridge fire farther behind, dark blue dusk giving way to a faint warm horizon. Keep her face, hair, outfit and the gorge geometry consistent. Restrained orange-and-blue cinematic palette, photorealistic concept frames, each portrait panel composed for a vertical 9:16 shot. This is a fictional visual storyboard for a metaphorical leaving-the-past-behind scene, with no real fire stunt or copyrighted character reference.

Two fictional adult clay characters leaving a paper bridge, shown in three panels
Paper-and-clay new beginning: outfit colors persist, but envelope/lantern positions shift. Static contact sheet, not a video.
Exact tested contact-sheet prompt

Create an original stop-motion-style storyboard contact sheet, a still image rather than a video. Exactly three equal portrait panels in one horizontal row with thin white gutters, read left to right, no captions, numbers, logos or watermark. Handmade paper-and-clay miniature world on a tabletop. Exactly two fictional adult clay characters in every panel: a woman with a short dark bob, teal jacket and cream trousers, and a man with short curly brown hair, rust-orange jacket and charcoal trousers. Keep their faces, outfit colors and relative sizes consistent. A small folded-paper bridge spans a shallow blue paper stream in a green park under a warm evening sky. Panel 1: a wide shot of both adults standing together on the near bank, looking at a discarded blank envelope beside the unoccupied bridge; orange tissue-paper flame shapes appear only at the far end of the bridge. Panel 2: a medium two-shot of the adults clasping hands on safe flat ground, the same bridge and envelope behind them, more orange tissue-paper flame shapes along the empty bridge, unmistakably craft materials rather than real fire. Panel 3: wide rear three-quarter view of both adults walking together along the near-bank park path, leaving the bridge and envelope in the distance, one small glowing paper lantern on the path ahead. Preserve miniature paper texture, clay fingerprints, warm cinematic light and coherent stream layout. Compose each portrait panel as a vertical 9:16 shot. This is a gentle symbolic letting-go-and-moving-forward story, not a copy of a music video, song, existing film or copyrighted character.

Continue into your own production workflow

Prepare original or licensed character, scene and effects references. Generate or illustrate each shot in your chosen tool, set its supported dimensions/duration there and assemble in an editor. Check identity, scene geometry, screen direction and pacing. Fire is a composited/paper effect with an unoccupied bridge; no real stunt is needed. Shot durations are editing intentions, not measured generated motion; reordered stories may need revision.

Burning bridges is used as a metaphor for leaving the past behind. These concepts claim no official song, music-video or existing-film affiliation and supply no music. Plain-text prompts contain no tool-specific generation flags.
