Online slide editing and presenting

Open the official DeckCraft 0.7.0 Web build, independently hosted in a separate editor tab. Create a presentation, add slides, edit text and pictures, change Design themes or colors and use Slide Show → Play from Start. The lightweight page loads no editor resources before an explicit launch.

Original three-slide sample

Download Neighborhood Studio: three 16:9 slides with editable text, a shared color theme and an embedded 800 × 600 original geometric picture on slide two. Content and artwork are original FreeKitBox CC0 work.

  1. Open the sample through File → Open → Browse. To start a new deck, use File → New → Blank Presentation and add slides from Home.
  2. Edit its first title, inspect the second slide's picture and choose a new Design theme.
  3. Use File → Save As, choose DeckCraft Presentation or PowerPoint Presentation, then Download. Reopen the downloaded file and check all three slides.
  4. Use Slide Show → Play from Start. Turn Presenter View off for a single-screen show. Arrow Right or Space advances; Escape returns to editing.

Documented formats and scoped checks

Upstream 0.7.0 documents native .deckcraft and PPTX read/write, and PNG/JPEG, PDF and text-outline export. Native files preserve its own model. The original sample was opened, its title changed, its theme switched to Nocturne, and saved as native and PPTX files with the official command-line engine. Independent file checks confirmed three slides, dimensions, edited text and unchanged embedded artwork. These are native-engine checks, separate from the browser observations. In the Web editor, the title and Nocturne theme were edited, native and PPTX copies downloaded and reopened, and all three slides presented with keyboard navigation. Saved copies retained the slide size and original picture bytes/placement. A new blank presentation was given a title and a second slide, then saved. The checked PDF has three pages with raster artwork and selectable text. PNG/JPEG and outline exports remain upstream-documented options without a browser export check here.

Text rendering differed slightly between native and PPTX copies of the edited sample. Keep your original and check complex PowerPoint decks. Legacy .ppt, macro-enabled presentations, ODP, direct SVG-picture insertion and MP4/GIF deck export are not supported in the cited format matrix. The browser check displayed an Inter font-substitution warning and rendered a similar font. A saved font name does not establish identical appearance; inspect line breaks and your exported copy.

Files and browser storage

The separate editor processes files in its tab and can retain recovery data in browser storage. Save an exported copy of important work before clearing site data. Current desktop WebGL2 and browser decompression support are required; use a keyboard and mouse for editing.
